ShortlistsRecipe

Build a shortlist in five minutes

From a crowded search to the few names worth showing.

  1. Run a search for the role.
  2. Open the top results and read why each one matched.
  3. Add the people worth a call to the shortlist.
  4. Put them in the order you'd present them.
  5. Write one line per person on why they're there. Your client will read it.

How long should it be?

Short. A shortlist is a recommendation, not a database export. Most clients want a handful of names, not twenty.

Write the one line as if the client asked you on the phone: "Why her?"
